About Us

Feel Good Food

 After the inception of the idea in March 2021, Roots has grown from a conversation between friends into a brand which stands for healthy living, honest food and authentic customer interactions. Roots trades from food trucks in two vibrant locations – Monkstown and Greystones offering acai/ dragonfruit smoothie bowls, specialty coffee, seasonal porridge and artisan vegan/non- vegan treats.

All our smoothie bases are blended in house, using the highest quality acai pulp imported directly from Brazil – ensuring no added nasties or surprises. Just health and deliciousness!

Our Acai

Our acai/dragonfruit is directly from local producers in the Amazon providing high quality employment conditions for Amazonian locals and replanting trees for each harvest they make.

Sustainability

We only use sustainable packaging, compostable or recyclable and source this from sustainable brands in order to reduce our environmental impact

Love this place. Food is amazing. Wish there was more places like this around. Freshly made in front of your eyes. Never had any complaints and the staff are so welcoming and full of energy. They do a lovely hot cacao which is highly recommended.. Porridge in the winter is also a must try. So filling and loads of flavour with a couple of options available

The team running Roots are total pros! The food is pure art to look at and to taste plus it's nutritious too. My daughter adores the granola cups so we went for a breakfast treat there en route to school this morning but she dropped hers and was miserable until the angels behind the counter made her a replacement without hesitation. Thank you girls, you made her day (and mine by proxy!!)

The coffee here is really REALLY good. The staff are always friendly and very chatty even at 8am in the morning. It’s the only place I would get coffee in the Monkstown area - even if I have to wait until Wednesday.

Best place for the yummiest acai and pitaya bowls. Highly recommend dropping by for a great coffee and freshest bowls with a great variety of toppings 🤩 Harry's nut butter is my fav 🤤
